Early First Fruits "And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,When ye be come into the the land which I give unto you and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you; on fhe morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it." Lev.23:9-11 The Israelites did this, never realizing that the sheaf represented YAHUSHUA who rose on the day after the sabbath after Passover and was the firstfruits of harvest. YAHUSHUA fullfilled the shadow of the day of first fruits, he filled it up with meaning. Our New Testament scriptures clearly show this to us: "But now Christ is risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept."  I Corithians 15:20 "But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming." I Corinthians 15:23 Some events Occurring on the Day of Firstfruits (Nisan 17) "And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat." (Gen. 8:4) The Hebrews entered Egypt (Exodus 12:40-41) Moses led the Israelites through the Red Sea. (Exodus 3:18; 5:3) Israel entered the Promised Land and ate of it's fruits. (Joshua 5:10-12) Hezekiah cleansed the temple. 2 Chronicles 29:1-28) Queen Esther saved the Hebrews from annihilation  .
